Dear colleagues and friends,
Welcome! This is my first post for my JUST-launched “Compassionate Capacity Building” encore career enterprise – Rob R Johnson Ltd. Co.!
- I’m recently retired VP of Community Services and Chief Operating Officer of the Atlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). 29 years of service with that remarkable non-profit this was totally transforming for me!
- Thanks to that ACFB experience and its legendary leader, Bill Bolling, we truly learned and implemented Peter Senge’s Fifth Discipline techniques to develop a long-time “learning organization.” Each time we applied for it, we won the very demanding “Managing for Excellence Award” for non-profits from the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta
- Additionally, my 20+ years of active, leadership membership with the Organization Change Alliance have marvelously connected me with a life-long professional organization development (OD) community.
Retired? Yes….from FULL time employment
Done as a change agent? NO!
I look forward to sharing and learning with YOU about my next steps in continuing to fulfill my overall purpose in life:
To love God, to practice and enjoy more fully God’s presence, and to serve as a compassionate change agent – beginning with myself! – with individuals, organizations, collaborations, and communities that are committed to making the world a better place.
Blessings,
Rob
